Indian Firm Introduces Moto GP-Style Yamaha R15 V3 Aero Kit

The aero kit for the Yamaha R15 V3 is not only for show

The Yamaha R15 V3 is pretty sporty as it is, but that has not stopped people from trying to modify it in any way shape or form.

Autologue Design, which creates custom bolt-on body kits and accessories, has recently come up with an aero kit for the popular motorcycle.

It includes 2 parts – a pair of winglets and a tank cover – which, says the Pune-based firm, improves aero, offers more tank support and adds to the track bike look of the Yamaha R15.

These bolt-on parts complement the styling of the entry-level supersport machine and, the winglets in particular add to the track bike theme well.

Speaking to MotorBeam, Founder of Autologue Design, Mukul Nanda revealed that the winglets improve aero by 5-10 percent and also invariably move dirty and hot air away from the rider.

Right now, the pre-order price for the Yamaha R15 V3 aero kit is Rs. 2000/-. While the cost of the tank cover is Rs. 4500/- and the winglets Rs. 2250/-, the first 10 kits will be priced lower at Rs. 3600/- for the fuel tank cover and Rs. 1800/- for the winglets.

Those interested can pre-order the kit now and deliveries of the same will begin in 4 weeks’ time. Do note that the asking price is devoid of taxes and shipping.

Having introduced the Yamaha R15 V3 aero kit, Autologue Design is working on an ‘Explorer GT’ fairing for the KTM Duke 250 and Duke 390, which should be available for pre-order in 2 to 3 weeks’ time.
