Pre-bookings open for the list of accessories for 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 with 20 percent discount to first 50 buyers.
Autologue Design has introduced a list of accessories for the 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400. These accessories are a part of an agreement signed by Bajaj Auto and Autologue Design. Though each of the parts will have to undergo quality check by Bajaj Auto, the company will not have their branding on these accessories.
The prices of these accessories range from Rs.3,680 for the saddle stay to Rs.985 for a tank grip. As a part of an incentive scheme, Autologue Design is also offering a 20 percent discount to first 50 buyers. The accessories include a visor, either clear or smoked, priced at Rs.2,630.
The tank grip is priced at Rs.985 while the pillion back is priced at Rs.2,045. The accessories also include a top rack for Rs.3,125, saddle stay for Rs.3,680 and a back plate for Rs.3,285. These rates are prior to the 20 percent discount.
Each of these accessories offered by Autologue Design is for the comfort and better protection of the rider and pillion. The tall visor protects from windblast on highways. The pillion back rest offers better support to the passenger especially during long distance riding while the saddle bags come in handy for carrying extra luggage.
Saddle stays prevent these saddle bags from swinging or coming in contact with rear tyre while the other accessory of a top rack is for mounting a top box or bag. A bash plate protects the engine especially during off-roading.
2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 is the company’s flagship motorcycle. The new Dominar comes in contrasting Aurora Green and black dual color scheme. It was launched in India last month and is priced at Rs.1.74 lakhs. The Dominar 400 is powered by a 373.3 cc single cylinder, liquid cooled engine offering a 5 PS boost in power to 39.9 PS power at 8,650 rpm and 35 Nm torque at 7,000 rpm. Engine is mated to a 6 speed transmission and gets slipper clutch allowing for smoother deceleration.
In the first month of its launch, Dominar has managed to register sales of about 1,350 units. Though this is not the expected sales target which Bajaj had initially made, it is still better than the sales which were registered by the old Dominar. Bajaj is expected to launch new colours (Red and Silver) in the coming weeks, as the same have been teased in the latest ad of Dominar.
